For the first time in England, nurses and clinical professionals working in Continuing Healthcare will have a nationally recognised, postgraduate career pathway built specifically for their field.
As demand for Continuing Healthcare (CHC) grows, so does the complexity of the work – from intricate assessments and legal frameworks to inter-agency collaboration and community leadership. This new qualification aims to meets that challenge head on, giving practitioners the specialist skills and credentials to match the needs of their roles.

Closing the skills gap in a growing field
Continuing Healthcare is one of the most demanding areas of community practice – yet until now, there has been no dedicated postgraduate pathway to develop expertise within it.
Professionals have had to adapt qualifications designed for other settings, without the specific frameworks, language, or clinical grounding that CHC requires.
Developed in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University and Liaison Care, the PGDip in CHC creates a credible, rigorous career trajectory for experienced nurses, allied health professionals, and social workers who want to deepen their practice and lead effectively in this space.
National Recognition
A Level 7 qualification that gives CHC professionals the same academic standing as specialists in other clinical fields.
